What we do with your details.

You told us something to start a conversation, not to be marketed at. This page says exactly what we collect, who touches it, and how to get it back out. If anything here isn't clear, ask us at collaborate@radworkscollective.com.

The short version

We collect what you type into our contact form or our live chat, and we note which search or link brought you here. We use it to answer you, to keep a record of the conversation, and to know which part of our work is actually reaching people. We don't sell it, we don't share it for advertising, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.

If you want your details out of our systems, email collaborate@radworkscollective.com and ask. We'll do it.

Who we are

Radworks Collective is responsible for the personal information described here.

Our registered business address is 9856 Villa Pacific Dr, Huntington Beach, CA 92646, and you can reach us about anything on this page at collaborate@radworkscollective.com.

What we collect, and when

Here is every way your information reaches us. Nothing else is bought, gathered or inferred from anywhere else. Deliberately not a numbered count, so that adding one to the list below can never leave this sentence wrong.

  • When you fill in our form: your name and email, your phone number and company if you give them, what brings you in, who referred you if anyone did, your message, and which page of this site you were on when you sent it. The page is recorded so we know which part of our work brought you to us.
  • When you use the live chat: whatever you type into it, plus the technical details the chat provider records to run the conversation, which include your IP address, your browser and the pages you were on.
  • Automatically, in the ordinary running of a website: your IP address, browser, the page you asked for and the time you asked for it, kept briefly in server and security logs by our host and by the service that shields the site from attacks.
  • Where you came from: if you reached us through a search, a link on someone else's site or one of our own campaigns, your browser tells us that, and we keep the note in your browser rather than on our servers. We also keep a count there of how many times you have visited. If you never send us the form, none of it leaves your device. If you do, it travels with your enquiry so we know which of our pages and which campaigns actually bring people in. It says nothing about who you are.

What we don't collect

We run no third party analytics on this site. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no session recorder and no heatmap. We don't track you across other websites, we don't fingerprint your device, and we don't buy information about you from anybody. Noting the search or link that brought you here is the only measurement we do, and it stays in your own browser unless you choose to send us the form.

The site's typefaces and images are served from our own address rather than a third party, so simply reading these pages doesn't announce you to anyone else. The one exception is the live chat, which loads one typeface from another provider, and only if you open it.

Why we hold it

To reply to you, and to have a record of the conversation so the next person you speak to here knows what you already told us. To keep the site up and to stop people attacking it. To meet our own legal and accounting obligations where they apply. That's the whole list.

We don't make automated decisions about you, and nothing on this site profiles you.

Who else touches it

Your enquiry does not stay on this website. It's written into the customer record system we use to run our practice, and an email notification is sent to us. That means a handful of companies handle your information on our instructions, and here they are.

Each of them is bound to use your information only to provide their service to us. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross context behavioural advertising, which is the kind of sharing that California law treats as a sale.

Your phone number, and text messages

If you give us your phone number, we use it to get back to you about the enquiry you sent us, and for nothing else. We call you back about it, and we text you only if you ticked the box on the form asking us to.

We do not sell your phone number, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only companies that ever handle it are the ones listed on this page, working for us, so that we can answer you.

If we text you, replying STOP ends it and we won't message you again. Replying HELP gets you our contact details. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your plan, and how often we message you depends entirely on the conversation you and we are having. Agreeing to be contacted is never a condition of working with us.

Our form has a box you can tick to say we may text you about your enquiry. It is never ticked for you, the form sends perfectly well without it, and if you tick it we keep a record of the date, the number you gave and the exact wording you agreed to, so both of us can see later what was actually said.

Cookies

We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, so this site has no cookie banner to click away.

Two cookies are ours, and most visitors will never receive either: one holds a review code while the site is behind a private review gate, and one keeps whoever administers the site signed in. If you open the live chat, the chat provider sets its own storage in your browser to keep track of the conversation.

Your browser also holds a few small notes that are not cookies and are never attached to a request the way a cookie is. They record the search or link that first brought you here, the pages you've seen this visit, and how many times you have visited. None of it reaches us unless you choose to send us the form, and then it travels with your enquiry. No other website can read it. Clearing your browser storage clears all of it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our customer record system for as long as we might reasonably still be talking to you, and after that for as long as we need them for our own records. Live chat transcripts are kept by the chat provider on the same basis. Server and security logs are short lived and roll over on their own.

If you ask us to delete your information, we delete it, except where we're required to keep something specific.

Your rights in California

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended gives you the right to know what personal information we've collected about you and where it came from, the right to a copy of it, the right to have it corrected, and the right to have it deleted. You also have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We don't do either of those things, so there's nothing for you to opt out of, but the right stands.

To use any of these rights, email collaborate@radworkscollective.com and tell us what you want. We may need to ask you something only you would know, so we're sure we're talking to the right person. You're welcome to use an authorised agent, and we'll ask them for proof that you've authorised them. We'll respond within 45 days, and tell you if we need longer.

We won't treat you any differently for asking. No worse service, no different price, no quiet deprioritising.

Some browsers send a Global Privacy Control signal. We honour it. Since we don't sell or share your information, it doesn't change what we do, and we'd rather say that plainly than claim credit for it.

If you're somewhere else

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to fix it or ask us to delete it, by emailing collaborate@radworkscollective.com. We'd rather honour a reasonable request than argue about which statute applies to you.

Our systems and the companies listed above are in the United States, so if you're writing to us from outside it, your information is handled there.

Children

This site is for people doing business with us, and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we'll remove it.

How we look after it

The site is served over an encrypted connection everywhere, it declares a strict policy about what code a browser is allowed to run on it, and the parts that aren't public are behind a sign in. Access to our customer record system is limited to us and to the people who run it for us.

None of that is a guarantee. No website can promise perfect security, and we're not going to be the ones who do.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we change this page in the same breath, and the date at the top moves. If a change is significant and we hold your details, we'll tell you rather than leave you to notice.
